SOFT BODY ARMOUR REDESIGNED

Designed to provide maximum torso coverage, this Soft Body Armour Vest (SBAV) adapts to dynamic body movements and shooting positions. Combined with Outlast Thermal Management Systems and LOF ACS Technology, the Protector is the new generation of advanced carrier systems. Our OEM Soft Body Armour cut/shape is significantly different from other manufacturers. Our panel and carrier shapes are designed to solve the common problems related to currently issued Soft Body Armour. When properly sized, our armour and carriers will not ride up while seated, shift or move around. They provide a significant increase in comfort with proper side panel overlap that will not restrict mobility when moving, driving or shooting. The armour and carrier systems are also designed to provide zero interference with your duty belt, firearms and other equipment.

Customize Your Look

The LOF Protector is available in two style variations. If you are looking for a non-aggressive and streamlined looking carrier system, the M1 (Left) is the best option as its loop velcro I.D panels located front and back are sized specifically to fit many of our custom LEO and First Responder tactical patches without exposing any loop outside the patch edges. A 1.0" x 3.5" Loop name bar is also located on the upper right corner of the M1 carrier system. Our M2 style (Right) gives you a large Velcro® brand loop I.D panel enabling you to customize patch configurations and layout. The additional reinforced laser-cut MOLLE loop platform allows you to add additional items such as admin panels, hooked back pouches, and various types of MOLLE compatible equipment.

What's Your Threat?

The Protectors streamlined closure system allows you to add or remove any type/threat level of LOF Defence Soft Body Armour (SBA). Both NIJ 0115.00 Spike and NIJ 0101.06 Ballistic SBA panels are available.

Internal Admin Pocket

The LOF Protector vest comes with an optional internal admin pocket. We have utilized a reversible zipper for aesthetics and provided a 550 para-cord pull tab to keep noise and chaffing to a minimum. The internal dimensions of the admin pocket measure 6.0" long and 7.5" wide allowing you to fit a variety of smaller items such as smartphones, notebooks, and pens.

Your Comfort Matters...

Aside from the extremely clean inside and low profile SBA Panel access point, Outlast™ Thermal Management Technology is integrated behind a layer of breathable 3D mesh to provide your torso with 360º cooling and heat management. This technology, originally developed for NASA astronauts helps regulate the body's microclimate by absorbing and releasing body heat as needed to maintain a consistent temperature. Thin, lightweight and very effective, Outlast™ is the best option to increase comfort, reduce sweat and manage body heat.

ACS Shoulder Straps

The Protector features adjustable shoulder straps combined with our ACS Shoulder Pad Technology providing you with comfort and the ability to add or remove various components such mini Soft Armour Panels, additional foam replacement inserts and our HDPE composite inserts for greater load support. ACS Mission Flap

Aside from providing you with a MOLLE compatible mounting platform, the ACS Mission Flap acts as a repairable closure system giving you the ability to fix your Protector carrier without the need for warranty work, lengthy repairs and most importantly, without the need of sewing or textiles expertise. Coverage That Counts

Every LOF Defence SBA vest is customized to fit your torso perfectly providing you with a minimum 2.0" SBA panel overlap. With the streamlined closure system, you are able to position your SBA panels for a "Front overlapping Back" configuration giving you confidence bullets, pointed, or edged weapons will have a greater disadvantage at penetrating the sides of your armour from a frontal attack.

Interchangeable Cummerbunds

A traditional internal hook and loop adjustment system allow you to optimize the fit of your armour while giving you the option to remove or replace various styles of external cummerbunds in a matter of seconds.

Sizing

Download the Measuring Sheet Download Now

Download the measuring sheet and email a completed copy to info (at) lofdefence.com Please ensure you provide proper, current measurements so sizing is correct the first time. Ballpark guesses or using old or inaccurate measurements will result in your order not fitting properly and a longer wait to get the properly sized products. Do not 'suck it in' when taking measurements. Relax and ensure you are getting the realistic numbers when you are at ease. PLEASE READ THE FULL MEASURING SHEET for details on how to properly measure yourself. These vests are made to order and there are no refunds so please ensure you measure exactly as the sheet states. Your order will not be placed in the production queue until after we receive the sizing sheet.

Lead Times

Due to the high demand for our products and strict in house manufacturing, we have limited stock available, and many of our products are made to order. If your order is in stock, it will be picked and shipped right away. However, if it needs to be manufactured, lead times may apply. Click here to view our standard lead times.

Warranty

We guarantee our products will be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship for the product's life cycle. We will repair or replace products found defective at our sole discretion. Please retain your warranty card and original proof of purchase to redeem your warranty.
