"Unless certain products mention "Export Controls and Regulations", NO identification is required for international customers. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure compliance with their local laws and regulations regarding the import and possession of Body Armour, Police Patches and related items. We recommend consulting local authorities if unsure about regulations in your area.

Law enforcement officers, military personnel, first responders, and security professionals do not need to hold a PAL (Firearms License) when purchasing Body Armour - You are exempt under all provincial Body Armour Control Act(s). If you are ordering Body Armour or LE style patches online, please submit a valid agency ID through the form provided to finalize your purchase.
Body Armour (Including Ballistic Helmets)
Purchasing body armour in Alberta requires a valid Alberta Body Armour Permit or recognized exemption under the Alberta Body Armour Control Act. If you are shipping within Alberta, a valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) will also serve as an exemption. However, please note that the PAL is NOT recognized as an exemption in all provinces. Confirm the body armour control policies specific to your province or territory prior to purchase.

Outside of Alberta, a PAL is not always considered an exemption. Make sure to review the legislation in your province or territory to ensure compliance.

Alberta Body Armour Control Act
Alberta’s legislation aims to enhance community safety and support law enforcement in curbing gang-related crime. Only individuals who have a legitimate purpose, or those who have secured a permit through Justice and Solicitor General, are allowed to possess body armour. Accordingly, vendors may only sell to those who present a valid permit or proof of an applicable exemption.

The Body Armour and Fortified Vehicle Control Act (Manitoba)
Manitoba has its own regulations on body armour, applicable to anyone purchasing from within the province. Vendors can only sell body armour to those who have a valid permit or who meet an exemption.
